Induced Polarization (IP)
Induced Polarization (IP) provides a means of detecting and mapping conductive mineralization, disseminated mineralization, alteration, geology, etc. for mineral exploration. Resistivity is sometimes used on its own in other applications.
IP is a current-stimulated electrical phenomenon observed as delayed voltage response in the earth materials. The primary advantage of the IP method is its capability under favorable conditions to detect the presence of even very small amounts of metallic mineral, such as disseminated mineralization, where other geophysical exploration methods are much less effective in this regard.
It is the only geophysical technique capable of directly detecting scattered primary sulfide mineralization.
PPZG offers superior solutions in Induced Polarization (IP) that will enhance your exploration efforts.
