Seismic Vectorizing and Post-Stack Processing
For old seismic surveys, digital data may not be available. However if paper seismic sections are available these can be vectorized to produce SEGY data. Basic post-stack processing, including migration if sections are stack only, can also be carried out.
PPZG has a team of experienced personnel who are able to vectorize and process.
At first, Seismic paper sections are scanned with high resolution and then seismic traces are reconstructed by detailed analysis of the wavelet shape. Shot points and coordinates are assigned and the data is output to SEGY format.Interpretation marks can be removed as part of the image conditioning.
